SingulaRoute is a mobile application that helps tourists or visitors to improve the experience of visiting a city or region, promoting quality time for the visiting circuit and facilitating the management of this circuit by those responsible for tourism.
It proposes to generate a competitive advantage to the city or region through: innovative ways to know the historical heritage and other touristic points, giving the tourist mobile access to information online and in real-time; facilitating the realization of their visiting preferences, given their restrictions, promoting the visit circuit that best suits them; and the management, at the moment, of the visiting circuit of the mass of visitors, with a view to minimizing the idle time spent on travel and waiting for lines for access to the touristic points of a city or region.
SingulaRoute considers the current geographic location of tourists, visitors, or even inhabitants of cities or regions and their preferences and visiting restrictions, but also the occupancy rate, in real-time, of monuments, events or sights, and their access, waiting and present times, to establish optimized dynamic visit circuits (travel plan & multimodal routing), being able to make use of IoT technology and advanced artificial intelligence algorithms.
These algorithms allow these proposed circuits to take into account the most relevant historical information on the tourist's visiting behavior. The circuits can also observe tourist management decisions of the city or region. SingulaRoute is also distinctive as a source of information to support better decision-making by cultural tourism managers.
